About Skytrace His best placing being No.5 in the USSR.  Display pilot since 1991.  Gennady has over 4,700 hours on the Yak-52 and 27 years of instructing experience on this type in Soviet Union, Europe, America and Africa.   Skytrace is run by Gennady Elfimov, Russian CPL, professional aerobatic instructor.  He is a graduate of Moscow Aviation Institute and worked for seven years with the Flight Research Institute.  Senior Flying Instructor on the Yak 52 he was trained originally by DOSAAF the central Flight Training entity of the USSR.  He was a member of Moscow aerobatic team, competed in national aerobatic competitions for five years.
